From the creators of one of my favorite documentary quests of all time Nintendo Quest comes Galaxy of Hope. This documentary is not just about Star Wars, it is about giving hope to children through the Children’s Health Foundation. Jay has one year to gather Star Wars memorabilia through buying, trading and selling as much as he can so in the end he can have the best Star Wars auction possible with 100% of the proceeds going to the Children’s Health Foundation. Throughout his journey he will even attempt to recruit production staff and actors that have appeared in Star Wars films.
This will be a massive undertaking by Jay Bartlett and producer Rob McCallum (Nintendo Quest, Kittie: Origins/Evolutions, Power of Grayskull: The Definitive History of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and multi-award winning documentary Missing Mom) because the goal is clear. He has one year to make this happen while managing budget, item cost, and auction amounts. Jay will also have to decide if its worth it to buy items outside of the Star Wars universe to flip for a profit to be able to buy more Star Wars items to be able to auction later.
You may recognize some partners behind the documentary: Heroes Comics, Children’s Health Foundation and London Comic Con. To find out more about this epic quest you can view Galaxy of Hope’s Kickstarter page.
